Peter has some really great concepts and design ideas. if anyone has a tippy boat the outrigger is surely the way to go. I recall seeing a little 16ft sailboat which as the owner got older had a single out rigger added then as he got even older another was added on the other side, now a 16 ft trimaran was about as wide as it was long and if it did flip then there was only sitting on the hull till rescue.
